As the G7 meets in Evian, France, to plan the destruction of peoples, the exploitation of life, and the domination of bodies, let us organize our resistance against fascism and imperialism! Join us from the 13th to the 17th of June 2026 in Geneva to build an internationalist response!
What is the G7? Why oppose it?
Every year, the G7 brings together the governments of the world’s seven richest countries to shape global economics and geopolitics. Since 1975, the United States, France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Canada and Japan have met to coordinate the capitalist leadership of the world – joined in 1997 by Russia, excluded since the 2014 annexation of Crimea. Donald Trump, Emmanuel Macron, Keir Starmer, Friedrich Merz, Giorgia Meloni, Mark Carney and Sanae Takaichi are scheduled to meet in Evian from the 15th to the 17th of June 2026. A broad coalition of collectives and organisations is calling for a large-scale internationalist mobilisation against this meeting.
Against fascism
Global capitalism is in crisis. To preserve the Global North’s hegemony, the G7 members — its major players — are growing increasingly radical. This reshaping of the world order is feeding the rise of the far right. Its ideas and language are now pervasive in public debate, while the violence of its supremacist ideology is unleashed on a global scale. To secure their place in this new order, states are sliding towards even more authoritarian practices. As a result, this process of fascisation extends beyond the countries where the far right has taken power.
This wave of hatred, rooted in the domination of oppressed groups, is spreading and escalating deadly and systemic violence: institutionalized Islamophobia, racist police murders, violence at borders, sexist and sexual violence, femicide, anti-LGBT and anti-trans violence. Masculinists, legitimised by authoritarian leaders, are waging an unprecedented offensive. To maintain the unequal order, social movements — particularly environmental, feminist, LGBTIQ+, anti-racist, and those in solidarity with Palestine — are being harshly repressed.
For an effective anti-fascist struggle, let’s target the root of the problem embodied by the G7 members. In this climate of masculinist dominance, the fight against fascism is and always will be a feminist and queer struggle!
Against imperialism and wars against peoples
International cooperation is crumbling amid an arms race and trade wars. Today, several G7 countries are led by far-right forces that serve multinational corporations and the wealthiest individuals.
The West has abandoned any pretence of respecting principles of solidarity and peace among peoples. The masks come off when G7 governments refuse to impose sanctions on the colonial and genocidal state of Israel, flouting international law and revealing what colonized peoples have been insisting for decades: decolonization was never finished and it’s been replaced with new forms of imperialism.
This imperialism is based on the proliferation of wars, most recently in Iran, Venezuela, Gaza, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Ukraine. Predation by the G7 countries — but also by Switzerland — occurs through their multinational corporations as they race for dwindling raw materials. This frenzied extractivism exploits the bodies of peoples of the Global South.
Meanwhile, the West is closing its borders to the very populations it is ravaging. This colonial violence doesn’t stop at borders: it is also inflicted on exiled people, racialized communities, and the working class.
For internationalism and solidarity among peoples, against colonialism and deadly migration policies, let us organize resistance!
Against capitalism
Capitalism is based on the accumulation of profit and the increasingly unequal distribution of wealth. It relies on the exploitation of the planet’s resources and of the workers by the richest.
This economic system is driving the mass extinction of species and the depletion of soil, water, and air. It destroys the lives, health, and dignity of the people it exploits. The richest 1% own nearly 50% of the world’s wealth, to the detriment of the fundamental rights of much of the global population, who live below the poverty line, suffer from hunger, and lack access to decent housing, education, healthcare, or a clean environment.
To secure their profits, G7 leaders team up with the capitalist class to intensify their usual strategies: lengthening working hours, raising the retirement age, slashing wages, raising rents, and dismantling public services and social protections. To impose this agenda on the entire planet, the G7 countries use debt as a weapon, exporting policies of public spending cuts and privatization to countries in the Global South.
Cynically, wars represent profit opportunities for arms manufacturers. The militarization of our societies, fuelled by fascist rhetoric and security fearmongering, diverts public funds to defense, resulting in ever harsher austerity. As the Palestinians, Sudanese, Ukrainians, and Congolese are massacred, capitalists celebrate cashing in on their suffering.
For solidarity among workers of all countries and against exploitation, come demonstrate with us against the G7!
